Red Hot x COLLINS

36 years ago, the Red Hot Organization made an album to fight an exploding plague. AIDS. 30 albums later, they haven't stopped.

TRAИƧA is their newest act of love and their most ambitious project yet. A 4-hour sonic cathedral, built as a monument for trans people when presence itself becomes resistance.

Over 100 artists answered the call. Sade came back after six years of silence. Beverly Glenn-Copeland was the north star. Sam Smith paid tribute to that star. Perfume Genius made anguish sound like prayer. Moses Sumney covered Sophie in the cold water alongside ANOHNI. Adrianne Lenker brought only what was needed. André 3000. L'Rain. Clairo. Lauren Auder. Yaeji. Each voice a thread in something vast and necessary.

Seven artists from around the world made the album art, including the late Greer Lankton and Pippa Garner. Evangeline AdaLioryn curated it all and contributed her opus, "The Pearl Eater" for LP1.

We partnered with Red Hot from the start, creating the visual identity, the world it lived in, and the 6-LP boxset, conceived as a relic from another age, built to outlive the fight it now documents.

The New York Times called the project "far-ranging and innovative." The Guardian, "experimental, queer, and kind of magical." New York Magazine, "An embarrassment of riches." Anthony Fantano, "Some of the most insane packaging I've seen."

Our thinking had to scale. From the cover of Sade's "Young Lion", an intimate frame from Sophie Muller's Grammy-nominated music video, to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on FC Barcelona's 125th anniversary, in Senyera colors. No off-the-shelf type. Every letter hand-drawn, donated by trans and non-binary designers, or found on DaFont.

An arc of becoming. Worth every season. All musicians, artists and designers, standing tall. Which is easier to do when you stand on the right side of history.
