Introduction

Where Modern Leaders Meet Ancient Wisdom

Sojourns are immersive learning journeys for leaders at inflection points: moments of growth, transition, or redefinition.

We take people out of boardrooms and bright screens, into old cities, worn paths, and high places where the usual maps stop. Because when your challenges no longer make sense, you need new ground to think on.

Each Sojourn is a kind of leadership archaeology. They offer an encounter with time-tested ways of seeing, shaped by the histories and traditions of each place. They’ve helped others meet complexity and change. They can help you meet your own.

Where It All Began

In the early days of COLLINS, Brian and Leland went to Ireland. Not to solve anything. But to step away, to think.

That time reshaped how they chose to build this company. In the years after, friends and clients kept saying: I wish I could’ve gone on that trip.

So we opened the invitation.

The Approach

Each journey is shaped by months of thoughtful planning—intentional site selection, deep local research, and custom programming. We partner with world-class operators who bring cultural fluency, logistical excellence, and access you couldn’t find on your own.

Focused Time

Trips range from 6 to 10 days, depending on the place and theme.

Immersive Curriculum

Each Sojourn explores a core leadership theme—through site visits, fieldwork, expert guides, and structured reflection.

Small Cohorts

Groups of 15–20. Just enough to build trust and stretch your thinking.
