Best of Ogilvy
Challenge
For the last five years, Ogilvy & Mather has documented their best work from around the world in a knockout book called, appropriately, ‘The Best of Ogilvy.’ Ogilvy invited us to do something new for this year’s important edition – which would mark the second year in a row that the global agency won Agency of the Year at Cannes.
Solution
Working closely with Ogilvy Worldwide Chief Creative Officer Khai Meng, we took one of David Ogilvy’s most famous quotes - “It’s not creative unless it sells” - and flipped it, subtly changing the focus of the book’s theme. We then redesigned the project from top to bottom, developed an on-line presentation and, in honor of its fifth successful year, we created versions in five different colors. The accompanying announcement poster was a simple play on this idea.
